Shorts communications

 

Instructions for oral presentation:

 

  • The leading author must be in the room 15 minutes before the session starts.

  • All the oral papers will be presented on a video projector.

  • Presentations must be prepared in Power Point 98 or a later version format and must be available to the Scientific committee 30 minutes before sessions stars.

  • After the presentation authors must answer audience´s questions.

  • A certificate of participation will be delivered after each presentation.

  • The moderators in each room will evaluate all the oral presentations and select the best three of them. These selected ones will be presented again to compete to the award « The Best Oral Presentation ».

  • The amount of time alocated for each oral presentation will  be announced as soon as the scientific program is finalized.

  •  After notification of acceptance, the leading author they must register , and paid the Congress Registration fees before the early registration fees deadline : 

  • Special attention will be paid to the abstract reviewing process in order to ensure high scientific standards. Abstracts will be examined by the Scientific Committee responding to the conditions listed below.

  • The Scientific Committee will attempt to respect the author's wishes regarding assignment to a special topic and type of presentation but it reserves the right to change the allocation in order to achieve a well-balanced scientific program

  • The « Best Poster » and the « Best Oral Presentation » will be awarded Saturday May 9 afternoon, during the Congress Closing Ceremony.

  • All young researchers (postgraduated doctors and students) can enrol in the Young Research competition.
